AMAZING THREADS SPRING CLASS SCHEDULE SATURDAY AFTERNOON CLASSES 1-5PM April 10th – UFO Day – bring in your UnFinished Objects and receive assistance with any project that needs it or use this time to get some uninterrupted knitting time! Class fee $10.00 April 24th
– Ruffles – We’ll cover 2 techniques on applying ruffles to anything. The first technique deals with working
ruffles at the beginning or end of a garment.
The second technique applies ruffles throughout a garment and we’ll work
a Ruffled Scarf that has ruffles cascading down both ends of it. Class fee $20.00 + materials May 8th
– Fair Isle Knitting – Learn to work with 2 colors and how to produce a flat,
evenly tensioned fabric. You’ll have a
choice of working up a hat or mitten.
Class fee $20.00 + materials May 22nd
– Lace for Beginnners – Lace knitting can be the best knitting for the
summer. The yarns tend to be thin and
smooth and feel cooler to the touch. We
will work the Leaf Lace pattern in a simple scarf, this is the one we used in
our Leaf Lace Shawl. Class fee $20.00 +
materials June 12th
– Indian Summer Mittens (this is a reschedule of March 13th class) –
These mittens are an Amazing Threads original.
They are beaded, braided & worked in a 3 color fair isle
pattern. If you haven’t done much in the
way of color-work, take the Fair Isle Knitting class in May before taking this
class. Class fee $20.00 + materials EVENING CLASS The Sweater
Workshop will be continuing throughout the spring. If you’d like to join us to work the Sampler
or learn how to plan sweaters in any gauge or size, you’re welcome to. Thursday evenings 6-8pm. WEAVING Weaving will be on Friday May 28th
5-8pm SPINNING Spinning will be on Friday April 30th
& June 25th 5-8pm REGULAR CLASSES Bring your problems or just sit & knit! Tuesday evening 6-8pm Wednesday 11am-1pm Saturday 9:30-11:30am $10.00 each class There will be no Saturday class April 17th
& May 15th Class Policies All yarns for classes must be purchased at Amazing Threads. When you sign up for classes, ask what needle size you'll need or bring a collection with you (the size that I used may not be the size you need, but will usually be close to that size.)There is a 10% discount on materials purchased for a class. Payment- payment upon registration
will hold your place in that class. You can sign up by mailing in a check with
your request or in person at the shop. Class must have a min. of 3 students and
will max out at 10 students, expect for weaving classes, with a min. of 2
students and a max of 5. Class fee is nonrefundable unless canceled by
instructor or weather. Payment will be made directly to instructor. Send
